About me

As a somatic therapist, I help individuals, couples, and families experiencing life changes, suffering a loss, or needing relationship support.
Whatever your current challenges, working with a somatic therapist can help you get in touch with your body—a rich source of information, which has the ability to support you in achieving greater ease in difficult situations or relationships.
Therapy with me is a safe container for holding all that may arise as you journey back to yourself, starting with your body.
I believe that when each of us heals ourselves it has ripple effects out to families, communities and ultimately to the world.

I've had a life-long interest in health, wellness, and creating a more connected, sustainable world in which people can find balance between self, family, community, and work. I began my career in nonprofit management before becoming a parent when I was fortunate enough to be able to take some time out of the paid workforce. Returning to work, I switched career paths to working with individuals and groups (including couples and families) helping them access their own healing potential.
In 2019 I enrolled in the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, Concentration in Somatic Psychology program at California Institute of Integral Studies, completing a practicum training program at the Center for Somatic Psychotherapy in 2021.
At the same time, the global pandemic and broad utilization of telehealth coincided with the start of my work as a therapist. While I continue to offer telehealth, it is my intention to provide safe, accessible, in-person therapy to those who desire it.
I incorporate a variety of modalities into my practice, including EMDR. In my work with couples, I combine research-backed Gottman methods with somatic practices to help you and your partner slow down conflict and find movement towards growth.
