About me
Dr. Dee Majko is the founder and Clinical Director of Iris Therapy Services.
Originally from Albania, Dr. Majko is fluent in English and Albanian, and is responsive to cultural issues and differences. She is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years’ experience evaluating and treating children, teens, adults, and couples. Dr. Majko enjoys and is passionate about mentoring, training and supervising doctoral students.
Dr. Majko has worked in numerous clinical settings including private practice, outpatient community health centers, and residential treatment facilities. She has received post-graduate advanced clinical training at the Washington School of Psychiatry and completed the two-year Clinical Program. She completed a Fellowship at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy. Additionally, Dr. Majko completed the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Consultation Program at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy. Her clinical work has focused on individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, and relationship distress. She has extensive experience with psychological testing and immigration evaluations.
Dr. Majko is licensed in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia.
