I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, who has experience working with clients who are managing their ability to cope with anxiety, depression, substance abuse and all the challenges that life can present.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor; I am also a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor with 6 years’ experience. However, I have over 15 years’ experience in the mental health field. I believe in a holistic approach when working with clients to tailor treatment to their needs and goals. I have experience working with adults and children who are coping with anxiety, depression, substance abuse and life change.
I received a Master's Degree from South University in 2017 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I previously attended North Carolina Wesleyan College where I received a Bachelor of Arts in both Sociology and Criminal Justice.
I found my passion in the mental health field when I began community-based work part-time. I entered the field full-time where I also held several leadership positions that assisted me in enhancing my skills and passion. I later developed my skills as an outpatient therapist where I identified my love for assisting and supporting others through their healing journey.
