About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage & Family Therapist offering telehealth services to residents of Kansas and Florida. I work with adults aged 18+ individually, couples, and families treating issues such as: anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, wellness goals, and trauma.

I work towards a comfortable connection with my clients so their time in therapy is an easily accessible and safe resource for the transparency needed to begin to process their pain for observable change. I approach my clients with compassion and directness so as to better facilitate their desired change both mindfully and pragmatically. It is my belief that in order to move forward we must learn what is driving our course. I help clients learn to differentiate their emotions from their thoughts, beliefs & values so as to empower them to create space between these elements to better identify their needs and heal.
I have a background in health coaching and have incorporated integrative a performance nutrition into my practice to help clients make connections between their relationship to food and their overall wellness. I love to help clients balance their "wellness wheel" and improve their overall health, which can have a direct impact on their emotional and mental health specifically.
I do work with trauma utilizing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy and allow for clients to move between this modality and other approaches to continue to empower them on their journey. I have an EMDR certificate obtained from the Maiberger Institute and have continued to pursue ongoing education and supervision to continue to increase my experience and enhance my approach.
