Each of us has had something stand in the way of reaching our full potential. I work with clients addressing issues related to their mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. I help my clients create meaningful changes, stronger relationships, and a greater sense of self by focusing on their strengths and using a blend of different therapeutic styles that best match the client’s individual personality.
While my top professional interests are LGBTQ+ identities, depression, anxiety, and life transitions, I welcome all adults, couples, and families who are wanting an integrative and client-centered approach.
My approach is highly relational, meaning the relationship as therapist and client is an important part of the work. How my clients relate in therapy reflects how they relate to the world, and our sessions provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore those patterns. I pride myself on having an eclectic orientation that integrates a mix of traditional and non-traditional modalities.
With couples, I seek to build a deeper understanding of one's self, one’s partner, and how the unique elements that each bring to the table interact. Communication enhancement will be emphasized, and I also seek to affirm "non-traditional" relationship dynamics. All of this will be done in the service of building greater intimacy, resilience, authenticity, and safety in the relationship.
