About me
I am a cancer survivor and can provide a unique perspective from the view of a cancer patient and recovery from any disability. I provide individual, couples & family therapy using Emotion Focused Therapy. I teach Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills in individual therapy. And I teach the Duluth Model of anger management for preventing domestic violence.
I have over 30 years experience providing therapy to a wide variety of young to elder adults including many persons with long standing, complex, and difficult problems, all difficult to treat. I have extensive experience with the broadest cultural and ethnic diversity in treating individuals, groups, couples and families. I specialize in treating complicated grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, surviving cancer, bad habits, anger, relationship problems, recovery from child and domestic abuse, sexual abuse, crime survivors, combat trauma and other kinds of trauma. I am lgbtqiapk-affirmative, poly and kink aware.
