I am a Nationally Certified and Licensed Professional Counselor. I work primarily with adults. I am trained in EMDR which I integrate with other empirically validated counseling approaches. My availability for appointments is weekday evenings from 5 to 8 PM and Saturday mornings from 8 to 11 AM.

I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, stress, and depression resulting from experiencing trauma from personal or professional exposure. Trauma is complex and can negatively impact your quality of life and relationships. Some effects could include anxiety, inability to focus, shame and guilt, feeling disconnected and detached from loved ones, nightmares, painful memories of an experience that doesn’t fade away with time, numbness, or emptiness that lingers despite your best effort. I want to help you gain insight and learn necessary skills to reclaim control of your life and succeed in moving forward in your healing.

I consider the therapy process a journey of self-exploration and healing. I am a Nationally Certified and Licensed Professional Counselor. My clinical areas of expertise and interests include working with First Responders, PTSD, mood, and anxiety related disorders. I am trained in EMDR which I integrate with other empirically validated counseling approaches.

I understand there are barriers that can prevent you from seeking help, whether that be due to stigma, a belief the therapist won't understand your experiences, concern of not being believed, or even fear of harsh criticism and judgment. I will provide a safe, confidential, and therapeutic environment using empathy, acceptance, compassion, and validation.

I have applied for credentialing with the following insurance plans: Highmark, Aetna, Cigna, Geisinger, and UPMC. I am also accepting self-pay.
