Practice culturally and trauma informed approaches with particular utilization of Motivational Interviewing process strategies and Internal Family Systems individual and family interventions. Glad to work with trauma recovery, anxiety, substance use issues, chronic pain issues, identity and spirituality issues, chronic medical and serious mental illness challenges. Have found that when we work with beliefs, thoughts, words and actions, in that order, we find practical solutions to difficult life issues and circumstances. Work with families, teens, couples and individuals. Primarily focus on short term, solution focused psychotherapy treatment, and/or long -supportive psychotherapy for habituated or intractable conditions. Integrate your beliefs and practices as a part of our strength-based focus, to achieve and sustain optional functioning. Call for information as to what might best serve you and your circumstance. Looking forward to meeting and working with you.
