I enjoy and am experienced at working with people from all walks of life. My primary goal as a therapist is to help you overcome the mental and emotional hurdles that impair your ability to live optimally.
My aim as your therapist is to provide a safe space for you to explore, discover and restore. It is through this process that genuineness of self may be achieved. Self-genuineness is about living life in a way that lines up with what you truly believe and value. Additionally, I offer therapy and counseling that is unique to your expressed needs and moves at a pace that is comfortable for you.
The work that we will do together is meant to help you gain a better understanding of self, inspire positive change, and realize the optimized life that you envision for yourself. My specialty is working with individuals who have come to a crossroads in their lives. People who want different, other than what they have become accustomed to; or those who are transitioning from one phase of life to another, and not sure how to navigate.
In many instances, the desire or determined need for change can cause stress, anxiety or even depression. Change can overwhelm, make us feel stuck, fill us with dread, and procrastination. Good News! There are skills and tools available to help manage the emotions around life’s hiccups and changes. Even if you’ve been feeling “down in the dumps” for a while; know that there is a detour to fulfillment, better relationships, improved attitude around your professional and/or academic life and even happiness up ahead. One of my many philosophies is that everyone comes packaged with everything needed to live optimally. Sometimes, we just need a bit of help to realize it!
