I am an experienced psychologist who is devoted to helping people deal with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, sleep issues, athletic performance, life transitions and other challenges to emotional, physical and mental health and well-being.

For over two decades, I have helped hundreds of individuals achieve their mental health and wellness goals. I have been fortunate to work with people of all ages from all over the world, including retired professional athletes, members of elite swim and soccer teams, families and teams in home, school and work settings, military veterans, refugees transitioning to life in the US, and any person seeking to improve their mental health skill sets.

I specialize in mind-body approaches to managing the stress, complexities and opportunities of busy home, school and work lives.

In the process of helping people achieve their goals, I have set a few of my own — such as training to be a competitive triathlete and Boston marathoner, learning to speak Arabic and Portuguese, being the grandmother who runs the grandkids to the park in the bright orange jogging stroller and even teaching creative memoir writing to older adults who have been sequestered at home during the pandemic with hundreds of life stories and lessons to write about and share with each other on Zoom!
