Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
Trauma. It comes in many shapes and sizes. It affects everyone in different ways, and the effects can be devastating to your self-esteem, physical and mental health, and your life. You can feel angry, revengeful, depressed, withdrawn, alone, misunderstood.. Trauma, in any form, alters us in mostly negative ways; and it doesn’t have to be that way. The first step in healing is to talk to someone you trust. Someone who makes you feel heard, safe, secure. Someone who accepts you unconditionally and seeks to understand so they can help you put those experiences in the past, move forward, and start living your life again.
Healing from traumatic experiences is a personal journey and no two individuals are alike. We are all unique. I practice client-focused talk therapy and employ some Gestalt techniques. My main goal is helping you deal with whatever events in your life have caused you trauma, so you can move on and become the person you always knew you should be. Trauma knows no gender; if you have experienced trauma, we should talk.
Please reach out to me for the compassionate care you need and deserve. Contact me about what’s troubling you and we’ll see how I can help.
