About me

This space is for those that are either starting therapy for the first time or for those who have given themselves and therapy another chance. This space is for those with problems that may range from feeling held back in life, identity/sexuality issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. This space if for those who just want to be heard and validated, so allow me to be your listener and together we can find the path to a healed/healing you.

I find that everyone struggles in some compacity of their lives and not one person's struggles are greater or lesser than another's. I find that the difference in people when it comes to battling their pain and/or mental health is those who have been consumed by their pain and have rejected themselves from seeing it's affects, to those who have accepted that their pain has been consuming them and are now ready to battle for the sake of a healed self. I myself have been consumed and had let myself be completely devoured by my pains due to thinking my problems where less than and rejecting the reality that I am in pain. Through constant self-reflection and an open ear from a caring listener, I was able to release and accept my pains which then opened a pathway to me healing instead of self-destructing. I am a very open-minded person who is open to all, whether that ranges from individuals of the LGBTQIA+ community, kink-identifiers/BDSM, I welcome all bodies and disabilities to my space.

My approach is to tackle down all the stressors, traumas, and other issues you have been or is currently battling through. We will then address all issues/thoughts that you have been rejecting or refusing to accept by using escapisms to block these issues/thoughts, to slowly accepting your reality by acknowledging and learning to accept that what you are and/or have gone through is happening and/or has happened. Then we begin the healing process by identifying and recognizing the bodily sensations and thought patterns when in the moment of your struggle(s) and work through different techniques that you find effective enough to help you overcome these overbearing sensations and thoughts. Lets walk the beaten path together and find the way to acceptance instead of rejection.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and am in the process of becoming a Sex Therapist through the Sexual Health Alliance (SHA) program. I am currently working under supervision to obtain my clinical license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). You can contact my supervisor, Pam Johnson (LCSW-S) at (936) 661-4313.
