My integrated counseling style is primarily solution focused and heavily influenced by acceptance and commitment principles. It is grounded in the belief that individuals may already have the skills to create change in their lives, they just need help recognizing and applying them.
I'm a masters level counselor with a wide range of lived experiences who offers a mature, calm and compassionate style of counseling to those who are struggling with life's challenges. I'm located at the Counseling and Consulting Center in Warwick, RI, and also in my private office in Pawcatuck, CT. In both locations I provide a safe and nurturing environment for individuals, couples and families to work through problems. I hold both Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Master of Teaching degrees. I'm certified to teach 7-12 social studies in CT, a licensed massage therapist in CT, and a certified amputee peer visitor.
