About me

I am a spiritually-inclined social justice worker committed to helping community members re-imagine what healing can Feel like in light of one's own unique circumstances and the oft-oppressive systems we have learned to navigate throughout our lives.

I have a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (LCSW-BACS) based in New Orleans. I have worked with children, youth and families in various capacities over the years and am especially committed to supporting parents, caregivers and other social service providers in their efforts to create just, equitable, and sustainable Communities of Care amidst the systems of harm we are currently faced with.

I offer presence-centered healing opportunities utilizing a “Social Work Embodied” (SWE) approach. This particular approach is emergent as it defers to the “client-as-expert” in guiding their own therapeutic process. In concert with a variety of tools and modalities (DBT, EMDR, IFS...) , we will orient to ones’ internal narrative in a strengths-focused and radically compassionate way in an effort to move toward cultivating a felt-sense of empowerment.
