I am an experienced trauma therapist using EMDR to work with adults with complex trauma.
You've heard of PTSD. You think you might have it. You don't know what to do about it. Your sleep is an issue because you have nightmares. Even when you don't have nightmares, you don't feel rested in the morning. You avoid pieces and parts of your life because you fear being triggered by past trauma. When the stress increases in your life, you notice higher anxiety and scarier thoughts. You want to let go of the abuse and trauma of the past. Maybe you've heard about EMDR, but you don't know where to start. When you're ready to deal with trauma, you want to start as soon as possible.
EMDR is a type of therapy that helps to "rewire" your brain. It helps lower the intensity of traumatic memories and enables you to change your negative beliefs about yourself. EMDR is effective whether it is done weekly for an hour or intensively over a few days. I offer EMDR intensive sessions, which we can do over a few days of several hour sessions.
When you're ready to heal from your past, you want to start as soon as possible. If you want to learn more about EMDR and EMDR Intensives, contact me. I offer a free consultation so that we can talk about your needs. You don't have to suffer any longer. Start today.
