I am a licensed Clinical Pastoral Therapist & clinical supervisor with over 25 years of experience. I particularly like working with couples in crisis. I have experience with clergy and clergy families, therapists, spiritual issues & issues of faith, addiction recovery, anxiety, depression, grief & loss, dilemmas in parenting, premarital counseling, relationship issues, self-image issues, sexual problems, stress & trauma among other presenting issues.

Pastoral Counseling uses spiritual resources and psychological understanding for healing and growth. Pastoral Counselors are mental health professionals who also have in-depth religious and theological training, but we are open to working with clients of all faiths, those who have been hurt by their faith tradition, and those who identify with no faith. I seek to be open and inclusive with each client. I am trained in in-depth psychotherapy and enjoy exploring the deeper roots of presenting problems with a goal of practical application of insight. For those considering marriage, those who are newly married or those who want to stay connected with their partner, I offer a pre-marital package or relationship check-up utilizing the SYMBIS assessment.
I have been on the other side of the therapy room as the client, and I know how hard it can be to seek help sometimes and how hard the process of therapy can be. This is why I will not play the "expert", here to tell you what to do, but will help you identify the strengths you have and what is working. Help you identify the things you might want to work on, and help you get there.
