About me
I am a very experienced psychotherapist who successfully uses insight oriented techniques to encourage recognition of patterns that lead to happiness and healing . I am actively studying psychoanalytically oriented techniques in the patient/ therapist relationship. I find that these methods have increased feelings of safety in the relationship.
I have practiced for a long time and tend to think developmentally when working with adults. I particularly like working with young adults but work with adults of all ages. I have my own mindfulness practice which has been useful during these times. I am a creative arts in therapy therapist and family systems therapist besides being an LCSW. I am licensed in Maine and Pennsylvania. I am credentialed with some insurance companies but not all.
