By working collaboratively we can work together to decrease anxiety and depression, increase self esteem, enhance insight and better understanding of self, as well as to identify patterns of behaviors and thinking just to name a few benefits. Therapy isn’t a magic wand, and you aren’t going to be happy every day, or never experience stress again.
Therapy is a way to help you learn effective coping skills, change thoughts/behaviors that lead to distress, provide symptom relief, help problem solve, and improve relationships. I strive to help my clients reach their goals, process current or past traumas, manage stress efficiently, and find purpose in their lives.
