About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ("LCSW") and Licensed Alcohol and Drug and Mental Health Counselor ("LADC/MH") that works with children (ages 14 and older) and adults to address many issues including life stressors, emotional triggers, mood regulation, and poor coping that often accompany mental health challenges such as living with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Bipolar, Grief, etc.
I am a Clinician working in private practice at Strength of Mind Behavioral Health located at the edge of Broken Arrow where it meets Tulsa near 91st & Garnett Rd. I focus on meeting a client where they are and walking with them as a partner to aid in addressing barriers, challenges, and developing healthy coping strategies. My approach is one of non-judgment that empowers clients to confidently interact with their world and learning how to balance emotion and reason.
My experience working with many diagnoses has prepared me to provide ongoing care to men, women, and children (ages 14 and older) suffering with mental health issues, some of whom develop negative coping responses when they feel at a loss to manage symptoms in other ways. I use therapeutic approaches to assist clients in unlocking hope and a sense of empowerment as they move forward seeking a better overall quality of life. I believe each individual has inherent worth and dignity.
