Hello, I am an experienced therapist who is committed to helping individuals cope with stress, depression, and anxiety. I am also experienced in working with children of all ages. My specialities also include behavioral modification, spirituality, and thinking disorders.
Many are called to the profession of counseling, but very few are chosen. I have been chosen to gently guide others in finding direction, insight, and purpose. I am confident, compassionate, and unwavering in my desire to help clients see the light in the face of darkness. While my general philosophy is that therapy should be interpersonal, client-centered, and support based, I also believe in asking tough questions that challenge my client's existing mental conceptions and problem solving methodologies. My personal motto is "Challenge the thinking; change the behavior.
I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience counseling small children and adults from all walks of life. I have expertise in counseling inmates, teens/young adults, small children, couples, and parents. Individuals struggling with fear, anger, discouragement, anxiety, and trauma can find help, hope, and healing.
I am certified by the Center for Training in Adoption Competency as a clinician competent in working with adoption-related issues. I provide comfort, nurture, and encouragement to all individuals. I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
