Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am a mental health counselor who has been practicing since 2009. I have experience providing counseling services for adolescents, adults, & couples. My education is in marriage & family therapy. I utilize a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach to therapy, as well as a systemic approach, focusing not only on the individual, but on their relationships and family involvement as well. I allow the client to take direction in their sessions. I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I work with adults in the areas of anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, and premarital support and counseling. I also work with individuals who may not have mental health concerns but are just looking to improve their overall life satisfaction.
My clients tend to see me as a nurturing, caring, supportive therapist, while mixing in humor too. My clients feel safe in a nonjudgmental space. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending my time with my husband and two cats, as well as golfing, baking, reading, and traveling!
