Christen Selsor, MS, LPC
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
Do you feel heard by the people in your life, at work, in your family, or with your friends? People are so busy, and when we do find a minute to connect with friends or family, getting caught up on the basics is about all it seems we have time for. We as human beings need more, we need to be heard, understood and to know that someone has taken the time to see the true us.
I would love to be that person that listens to you; hears you as you share your story, allowing me to learn about the true you. You may be asking, what if I don’t even know who the true me is? This is a great question. We could explore this together and find the true you. The “You,” that does not have to hide any part of who you are or who you want to become.
I see great results in working with teenagers, adults, elderly, couples, and families in a variety of circumstances.
Here are some of the issues we can tackle together; communication, conflicts within the family, anger, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, domestic violence, boundary issues, and sexual abuse.
One of the methods I love using is Reality Therapy which helps one focus on the here and now. I incorporate many different types of therapies to best fit your individual needs. My goal is to establish trust with you; to help you gain awareness and the knowledge you need to work through the rough times in your life.
I have experience with all developmental age groups. I have a Master of Science in Counseling from Northeastern State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I am certification in early childhood developmental.
I believe today can be the first step towards a better you. I would be honored to walk along side of you. Together we can work towards the “You” that you want to be. Contact me today so we can get started. I look forward to meeting you soon!
