Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am a licensed clinical social worker who has true passion for helping others through grief and life transitions to finding hope again.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Grief Counselor. I have been working in the field of loss, grief and life transitions since 2014.
I offer an empathetic, supportive, and collaborative atmosphere to walk through this journey with you. In therapy, I strive to focus on the whole person, while bringing my own sense of curiosity, compassion, and connectedness with clients. I practice a strengths-based approach, because I truly believe in your ability to overcome challenges. We will work together to identify strengths, resources, and resiliency, while also addressing grief and stress responses. My work integrates the science of evidence-based practices with the art of figuring out what is most helpful for each individual. I strive to create a good working therapeutic relationship with my clients while creating a vision of hope and encouraging growth. Most of my clients see a difference in six to eight sessions but find comfort in having support as long as they need.
I am licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and provide virtual services to adults 18+ either individually or including family members within the state. Most of my sessions are conducted virtually, but I can make home visits in some Northern Virginia neighborhoods for an additional travel fee.
