About me

The connections of the physical body and the mind has always been central to the approach to health that I embrace and practice. I have over 30 years of healthcare experience and certifications in numerous modalities to support emotional and mind centered wellness. I continue to expand my understanding of the processes of illness and health restoration as well as managing the aging process with the best support I can provide my clients through continuous study in the fields of cellular and molecular science balanced with

As a Functional & Integrative medicine specialist, I am proficient in assessment of health status (physical, mental, emotional) to determine a successful systems based approach to wellbeing. I utilize holistic methods and require clients to actively participate in their process and/or recovery. I am not a licensed counselor or therapist - my professional license is as a family nurse practitioner. I work well with other practitioners to help modulate medications or nutraceuticals to support your therapy.
I have completed training in pastoral counseling and lifestyle coaching which is not near the requirements your professional therapists provide, but can be integrated into your plan of care here through functional medicine and integrative therapies. I practice mindful meditation and prayer throughout each day as it has proven beneficial to my journey in life thus far.
My education continues with recent certification in functional neurology and training centered around the field I obtained my first Masters degree in - Cellular and Molecular Biology. It is now considered by many to be the "future of medicine" ! Additionally, my private passion for Anthroposophic medicine as an integrative medical system, is now being openly embraced in the US as another extension of conventional medicine. This is a 'holistic' approach to man and nature - and to illness and healing based upon the theory that human beings can expand their cognitive capacities to explore the formative forces that are beyond particle interactions or phenomena we can describe as science. This unites 'nature and nurture' for me at a higher level and accounts for many effects witnessed in healing illness. Though it is not necessary to describe or to embrace this theory to clients, these seem highly compatible to the functional medicine model in which I am trained and the integrative therapies we employ in our practice. We do not participate with insurance, but have aligned with a couple of healthcare financing opportunities for clients to look into.
