About me
I have worked very hard to gain the knowledge that will provide clients with Dialectial Behaviort Therapy skills.
In 2001, I began down a very wonderful, interesting and exciting road. I graduated from the University of Utah, School of Social work with my Master's of Social Work. My goal was eventually to open my own private practice. This goal came true in 2011. I partnered with three therapists and began a private practice. Using my DBT education I did individual and group therapy. After 10 years I decided it was time to semi-retire. I enjoy my profession so much that I continue to work three days a week doing online therapy. I also am doing an online group using the DBT model coupled with some of my own information. These skills provide emotional regulation for Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as others who have depression, anxiety, fear, or chaos in their life. DBT helps us to learn how to control emotions and not let emotions control us.
