A sense of trust and safety is imperative for the counseling partnership to thrive. As we build that sense of trust and safety in sessions, I hope to help clients expand this in other areas of life as well. I love helping clients identify their goals for the future and helping them achieve those goals over-time. I believe that all people have the capacity for growth and change. For those who are starting this journey, I would love to walk with you. The path to growth and change can be uncomfortable at times but I invite each person to consider the benefits of moving towards their goals.
By using evidence-based practices, I seek to help each client improve in areas of life such as interpersonal skills, stress tolerance, emotional regulation and enjoying the moment. As I work with each individual I seek to provide a nonjudgemental and compassionate presence so that each person can work through difficult experiences without holding back.
I enjoy the ever-changing nature of the counseling field and learning new ways to effectively help people achieve their goals. Hearing people’s stories and helping them determine where to go next is inspiring and I always feel grateful to be a part of someone’s chapter in life.
