I am a Queer Afro-Latina Psychotherapist, dedicated to creating resilience to individuals, couples , teens and families from all walks of life come to terms with interpersonal conflicts, life cycle changes and other relational disturbances.
I’ve experienced first hand that there is nothing more important than feeling welcomed, and safe in your therapeutic relationship. It takes a great amount of courage to acknowledge habits and life choices that no longer serve you and to be vulnerable to make transformative changes. My aim is to be a supportive part of your journey.
Working with family systems theories allows me to map generational implications to relational and interactional dysfunctions, attachment patterns, amongst other important factors that influences identity. I encourage my clients to use interventions and coping skills as tools that will aide their ability to overcome challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with families, children, teens, couples and individuals from all walks of life, such as my fellow LGBTQ+ and Latinx community, BIPOC, those dealing with relational concerns throughout all life cycle changes , depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and sexual and gender identity exploration.
