My specialty is working with those who may be hurting and are seeking healing from difficult experiences. During therapy, it can be beneficial to explore the root causes, gain insight into unhealthy patterns and develop effective new coping strategies so that you are able to make lasting changes. Hope is possible with compassionate support. I mainly utilize in sessions EMDR and Internal Family Systems as my primary approaches to helping clients heal.
Searching for a therapist can be an overwhelming process. It is difficult to reach out for help when you are in emotional distress or pain, but the rewards to your life and well-being are worthwhile. For our time to be effective, it is important that you feel able to communicate openly and honestly. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore the concerns and stressful circumstances bringing you to counseling. Therapy can also be a support during times of crisis, loss, or during life changes.
I can be the best fit for clients who have a desire to experience self-growth and increased satisfaction in life. I've come to realize that the more we learn about ourselves, our patterns, and how we were impacted by our early experiences, the better we can cope with current stressors and have better relationships.
