Trauma healing doesn't have to be traumatic! I care about what happened to you. I have been helping trauma and cult survivors heal and move on with their lives, for over 25 years.

My trauma-informed approach has evolved out of my own life history. Growing up in a traumagenic family and then, surviving 26 years' membership in a cultish religion has given me lived experience that informs my coaching and counseling work with clients. I offer many tools for doing the work, including trauma-informed Cognitive work, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), SoulCollage®, Somatic awareness work, breathing techniques, creative writing, guided meditation and much more. These tools are used in the context of "the art of therapy". I believe that tools cannot help without a warm, compassionate relational environment. I strive to offer this in the online setting.

Those who are seeking support after leaving a cultish/high-control group can take advantage of my therapeutic coaching approach. My own membership in such a group allows me to know some of the more subtle after-effects of such group affiliation. We will unpack your experience together, while you are getting the support you need for this important transition.

At this time, all my meetings are via Zoom, online. Research shows that meeting online can be as helpful as meeting in person. Please be aware that, for counseling/therapy services, I am not an insurance provider.
