About me

I help clients with mental health challenges in addition to disability, health and pregnancy related concerns, including managing chronic pain and grief and loss.

I am Cathryn Glenday and I have 40 + years of lived experience living with a disability and chronic, painful illness. In college, I focused on pre-med only to develop a medical career ending disability. I have a Masters Degree in Public Health and worked as a Behavioral Health Epidemiologist while I was attending grad school in clinical psychology. My training includes a wide range of psychotherapeutic methods and tools. Because of my medical background, I work well with other members of my client's treatment team and understand how the body can impact the mind. I also know how to use the mind to help the body.

I am a creative writer and published poet and use forms of creative expression in my work with clients. I am trained to use spiritual beliefs with my clients to assist their recovery. I do work with individuals, couple and families. Whenever possible, I offer group therapy targeted to current need.
