I have many years of combined work and volunteer experience working with adults, children, and families in community outreach, mental health residential care, and in-home care services. I am a student at George Fox University pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Intern at A New Life Christian Counselors in Vancouver, WA, and Heart of the City in Wilsonville, OR.

Caring for a loved one or having your own mental health issues can be overwhelming. Having a solid support system in place and connecting with appropriate resources can help you navigate life’s challenges. My life experience, education, and work/volunteer history has shown me that it is essential to treat the whole person to find balance in your mind, body, and spirit. As individuals, and in relationship to others, we need to find ways to connect, discover our strengths, and develop a positive self-image. I am passionate about working with clients coping with mental health issues, chronic medical conditions, elder care, and families impacted by substance abuse, domestic violence, or neurological issues (ASD, ADHD, Alzheimer’s disease).

People usually enter counseling after trying everything else they can think of. Counseling is an impartial and non-judgmental way to explore other possibilities. I offer you a safe place to talk about what is not working for you now and where you would like to see improvement. I am trained in Clinical Mental Health and Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. My approach is Person-Centered, Humanistic, and Solution Focused. These approaches can help those struggling with Anxiety/Depression, Life Transitions, Relational issues, and Spiritual problems. I believe we may have no control over what happens to us – but can develop our own coping skills to help us meet those challenges head on. And we can always have Faith, Hope, and Embrace Life in Grace, while seeking the best possible outcome.

As an Intern, I am able to provide Low-Fee and Sliding Scale services ($20-$50) via Telehealth or In-person services in Oregon and Washington. My work is supervised by Breanna Jeffries, LMHC, Washington License #LH60336941 and staff at George Fox University. For a FREE 15 minute consultation or to schedule an appointment please call 360-952-4602 or email ANLCCinformation@gmail.com.
