About me
My passion is to help others change their lives by restoring clarity, dignity & compassion for themselves and loved ones. I provide a safe, trusting environment where a person can be oneself, be heard and validated without judgement. A healthy therapeutic alliance provides the foundation for amazing personal growth and healing.
I specialize in treating adults & older adolescents suffering from addictive illnesses, psychological trauma and grief, depression, anxiety and challenging life transitions. My therapeutic approach is client centered and strength based. By drawing from various modalities, including Psychodynamic, CBT and Mindfulness, I create a unique experience for every person. Change can be achieved through self-reflection and analysis of thoughts, feelings and behaviors. During sessions we work on understanding and repairing relationship dynamics, strengthening coping skills and improving self-esteem.
I have earned a Master in Social Work from Fordham University and hold a CASAC-Master with NYS OASAS. For over 20 years, I have been helping clients to bring their lives into alignment with whatever path they may choose to follow.
