I am a clinical psychologist who is licensed to practice in Rhode Island and California. My practice focuses on helping adults who are facing challenges in their personal and/or professional lives. My areas of specialization include the treatment of depression, anxiety and stress; resilience in the face of life transitions, such as divorce, relocation, and changes in employment or medical status; and relationship enhancement. I also offer career counseling and some limited corporate consulting services.

I practice depth psychology, which means that I focus on both conscious and unconscious processes, including dreams, to help people identify root causes of problems, gain new levels of awareness, and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

At times, other approaches are necessary. Because everyone is different, I tailor my work according to the needs of my each individual or group that I am serving.

I view psychological work as one of the greatest adventures a person can have because it involves a special kind of internal journey that can bring new perspectives and refresh and transform people in powerful ways.
