I am certified in Perinatal Mental health and specialize in anxiety and depressive disorders. I offer therapy services for all ages with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, adjustment, stress, grief&loss, trauma, women's issues,&parenting.

"I just want to be happy." “I just want to feel like myself.”
I hear this all the time. It's a broad statement but, at the same time, perfectly articulates how my clients just want to attain the simple and much-deserved feeling of happiness.
Depression is rude. Anxiety is harsh. They barge their way into life, uninvited, and come in various shapes and sizes, presenting themselves in varying degrees – and it’s all gross. Some people can’t get out of bed. Others can function like they always do, but things just feel cloudy for no apparent reason. Some are irritable. Others find it difficult to motivate themselves.
No matter where you feel like you might fall on the spectrum,
I can tell you this: therapy may be your answer.

You shouldn’t have to go through difficult times alone which is why my goal is to help provide you with a therapeutic experience that you need and want. You deserve time each week to explore areas of your life in a safe space and environment. Whether you are struggling with issues of postpartum, life-changes, parenting, family, relationships, life milestones (college/career), divorce, co-parenting, grief/loss-I am here to support you on your journey to healing. I will be your ally while we explore these struggles with the goal being you finding or re-discovering the “YOU” you want, the “YOU” you need, and the “YOU” you deserve.

I have always wanted to help people. Through most of my personal and professional life, I have often found myself drawn to people, sitting one-on-one with them, just listening. Everyone has a story, a history, something that has impacted them. We all deserve someone who is willing to sit with us and listen to us; and that is ultimately how I found my way into my career. I chased my passion for wanting to “be with” others as they share their struggles, traumas, and fears. With each experience I have gained so much insight and began developing strengths for working with infants, children, families, and mothers. After becoming a mother myself, I learned just how little support there is for moms-to-be and new moms. Thus, Double Heart Therapy was born. I welcome you, in any emotional state, into my office, to “be with” you as you share your story with me.
