About me

I am a Resident in Counseling who is dedicated to helping teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, substance abuse, and queer issues through individual and group therapy.

Does something in your life feel out of control? When our emotions, thoughts, or events that happen to us feel out of our control, we can oftentimes turn to negative coping skills if we’re not equipped with the necessary tools to overcome life's challenges. When this happens, life can feel terrifying, overwhelming, and unpredictable. We can blame ourselves and become anxious, depressed, and abuse substances. I work with my clients to reassure them they don't have to suffer through life’s curveballs alone, and in fact, can walk through challenges with grace and intuition. Indeed, we are capable of coming through the other side of life’s challenges with joy and gratitude!

I believe all the tools we need to carve a path toward well-being and self-healing are within us all-- It's never too late to find these parts of us and let them shine in the face of our struggles. Learning to love every piece of us-- even the parts of us we have tried to bury or throw away-- is an integral part of laying down the weapons within our psyche that wage war against us and divert us from our goals. Convincing the parts of us that make life feel unmanageable to call a truce takes time, patience, and grace. In therapy, we can learn why parts of us felt like they needed to become defensive, self-destructive, or self-critical in the first place. Let's work together to uncover how the parts of you work to serve you and learn to lovingly let go of behaviors and thoughts that no longer serve you.

I work with teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, queer issues, personality disorders, and addiction by using an integrative approach that meets you where you are. I use internal family systems (IFS), strength-based, and solution-oriented therapeutic approaches to invigorate a feeling of self-empowerment and inner peace within you. With a focus on nurturing individual strengths and resilience, I'll work with you to create a safe space to explore, grow, and navigate life's challenges alongside you with confidence and reassurance. Through virtual services, I am committed to providing high-quality, accessible therapeutic support. Let's work together to prove that you have always been capable of self-healing, inner peace, and inward compassion!
