About me

I am a New York State licensed creative arts therapist (LCAT) and a nationally registered, board certified art therapist (ATR-BC), offering individual and family therapy.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in studio art with a minor in psychology at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. I then went on to complete my Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy at Nazareth College.

I began my career in Rochester, working as a Behavior Therapist for individuals with Autism and later moved to Buffalo, where I worked at Gateway-Longview as a mental health clinician for 5 years. At Gateway, I provided individual counseling to children and adolescents, ages 3-21. I also worked with adults and families to support their needs through family therapy. I additionally co-led Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group for adolescents and model the Solution Focused Trauma Informed Care approach in therapy.

I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I combine in my person-centered practice. I attend annual trainings that typically include trauma, attachment, and art therapy.
