About me
I am passionate about helping individuals create meaningful change in their lives who are struggling with anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, body image, obsessive compulsive Disorder (OCD), school stress, and life transitions. Immediate openings available.
Brittany (she/her) is the co-founder and an action oriented compassionate therapist who uses acceptance and mindfulness-based approaches to help individuals better understand their reason for seeking support. My approach assists individuals in empowering themselves to connect with their authentic selves focusing on a mind-body connection. I help individuals increase awareness of their core value system to engage in a life worth living daily.
I have 15+ years of experience specializing in Eating Disorders, anxiety & trauma from inpatient to outpatient care. I has received advanced training in a range of mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD.
I see therapy as a non-judgmental space where together we seek to be curious rather than critical. I believe that full recovery is possible and join with individuals to help guide them to overcome their fears to create meaningful change.
