About me

Welcome, thank you for being here. I see (many) experiences of suffering as inevitable and how we respond and care for ourselves through them matters. My work is based on a philosophy of learning to suffer well, meaning that we engage with curiosity and kindness, as we develop new ways to soothe distress and communicate with honesty and respect. Together we can tend to the roots of your suffering and make room for joy.

I work from a trauma and compassion lens and integrate other EBTs. I prioritize safety, trustworthiness and transparency, collaborating and empowering your voice and choice while respecting your culture and history.
I believe in engaging in conversation about the hard stuff--traumas, identities, values, privileges, and oppressions--as they inform many aspects of our lived experience. This requires a significant amount of trust and I seek to earn this confidence. I will never force someone to discuss or explore aspects of their experience they do not wish to share.
I feel honored to be able to support individuals in caring for themselves through life transitions, traumas, and daily events. I appreciate each vulnerable moment I am entrusted with, as well as each moment of shared connection. I hope to get a chance to meet you. Please reach out with any questions or concerns. Wishing you much kindness.
