About me
I am a human being, guiding other human beings toward finding, understanding, accepting, and loving themselves.
I am a Mexican-American Associate Clinical Social Worker on a mission to help our communities heal and break cycles, one person at a time. I am also in active recovery from alcohol and have been sober from all substances for several years. My hope is to use my own lived experiences to help provide a space safe enough for folks to share their stories, as well as help those living with substance abuse or those who are sober curious. I grew up experiencing my own childhood trauma without an outlet, so I created my own ways and self-medicated in many ways in order to survive. I've realized along the way that so many of us are merely surviving day-to-day. We DESERVE to heal.
