Dynamic and caring therapist with a desire to help people achieve well-being by enhancing self-awareness, healing broken connections, and strengthening growth fostering relationships.

Are you working to heal from trauma, heal from toxic relationships, or find your true self? If so, I hope we can walk through your healing journey together. I believe you will find that I am a caring and conscientious person with a desire to help people achieve well-being by enhancing self-awareness, healing broken connections, and strengthening growth fostering relationships. I have a special interest in working with survivors of sexual abuse and trauma. I also deeply enjoy helping couples, parents, and older teens. I am currently accepting clients located in California and provide therapy via telehealth.

I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT126661) and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC9868). I work under the supervision of Karen Lee, LMFT38665, LPCC927, klee@essecounseling.com. I graduated with my Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology: Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

This is not my first career! My desire to be a therapist developed over time and because of my own experiences and journey toward healing. Before I became a therapist, I was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA 123505) and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and Graduate Certificate in Forensic Accounting. I worked as a special agent conducting white collar fraud investigations and later as a private company investigator, compliance leader, and chief of staff with a major health care organization. Understanding the stressors of working in government, law enforcement, and the corporate world also gives me a passion for supporting my clients by providing career counseling.

If you or someone you know needs therapy, please contact me for a free phone consultation.
