I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in faith-based counseling, divorce recovery, relationships, grief and loss, and trauma.

Do you find yourself wanting answers and hurting? I have been told by clients that I am comforting, positive, and a safe place. While we are wounded in relationship, we are also healed in relationship, learning to trust again is scary—yet necessary. Do you find life’s transitions challenging? Do you have emotions that are overwhelming? Difficulty grieving losses in your life?

Sometimes, we can come to the end of our ability to cope. I utilize evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT, ACT, and Reality Therapy. I have experience with children learning emotional regulation using play therapy and with adults struggling with grief, depression, trauma, addictions, couples counseling, divorce recovery, and life’s transitions.
I am a National Board-Certified Counselor with training in traumatic grief and divorce recovery. I enjoy using a faith-based approach to therapy to assist clients struggling with spiritual issues. As a mature adult woman, I have a wealth of experience in dealing with life’s hardships and feel I can use these experiences to inform my practice and help others.
