Hello! I am Bethany Dement, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I work with Children (9+), teens, parents, adults, families, and my favorite (couples). When working with kids and teens, I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, social skills, behavioral issues, and trauma. I use a holistic strength based approach to help foster resilience, develop coping strategies, enhance social skills, build a sense of safety and trust, and achieve relationship satisfaction between family members and peers. I will use tools that help apply skills inside and outside the therapy room.
I am a Certified Sex therapist. With sex therapy, I work with individuals or couples who struggle with desire discrepancy e.g., (lack of), sexual performance anxiety, infidelity, sexual trauma, sexual dysfunctions, sexual boredom, body image issues, sexual preference discrepancy e.g., (fetishes or difference in sexual preferences), mental and physical health issues e.g., (discomfort).

As a therapist, I have always had a passion for empowering and caring for others. My mission is to help the client become there most authentic self and for them to be well. I have had almost 4 years of experience and during part of my time I discover my speciality. I believe that my authenticity sets me apart from other therapists, as I strive to provide the most genuine support possible. I recognize that anything less would not serve my clients effectively.
