About me
Hi, I'm Bethani and I work primarily with teens, young adults, adults, and queer couples. I specialize in LGBTQIA+ issues, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I believe that therapy can be for everybody and is a collaborative process to gain clarity and insight into one’s life. I aim to tailor the therapeutic process to everyone’s unique needs and values while including humor and creating an environment of authenticity and warmth.
If you are facing challenges with your sense of self, relationship, or feeling overwhelmed with the difficulties of anxiety and depression, know that you are not alone. Our past can impact how we view the world and ourselves and I aim to create a cozy, safe space that feels comfortable for you to gain clarity and insight into how your life has created your experiences. For me, it's important to build a trusting relationship which inspires self-exploration and desire to better understand the complexities of what makes you, you. I may be a good fit if you are looking to strengthen your self-worth, cultivate secure relationships, learn or gain better insight into your identity, develop skills for anxiety or depression, or simply have a space to talk. I'm also passionate about working with LGBTQ+ clients who are looking to explore and find acceptance in their gender and sexuality.
At the heart of my approach is connection. My priority is to ensure that you feel heard and supported throughout this process. In our sessions, I strive to create a safe space where you can be your true self as we explore who you are and discover ways to help you flourish in a way that feels authentic and genuine.
Outside of work, I enjoys spending time with her partner, cat (Zucchini), reading, and I've
recently become interested in immersing herself in the delightful pursuit of birding.
