Are you sad and just don’t know how to get out of your “funk?” Do you avoid situations or people who make you uncomfortable? Do you try to communicate with your spouse/partner/parent/child but everything ends in a fight? Are you an adult living with a childhood or recent trauma? Depression, anxiety, stress, trauma…these are just some of the challenges many people face every day. You are not alone. The difference today is that YOU have taken the first step of seeking help. You may wonder how talk therapy can help you. The truth is, most people try things other than therapy to overcome these issues but many times it helps to talk to a professional therapist. There is no judgement and the therapist has no agenda other than to help you find more productive ways of coping. Therapy offers you a different, compassionate perspective. It just takes one step to move forward. Let’s talk about how we can work together to achieve your goals for a more fulfilling life.

I have been in private practice in since 1990 treating individuals and couples in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I completed my Master’s Degree in Social Work at Loyola University in Chicago and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I trained as a psychoanalyst at Newport Psychoanalytic Institute (NPI) and graduated in 2007 with a Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD). I am a former faculty member at NPI and am involved in both the Orange and Los Angeles county psychoanalytic communities.
