I have over 32 years of experience dealing with crisis intervention and trauma as a former first responder. After receiving my Master of Science degree in Counseling / Clinical Mental Health from Texas A&M University at Commerce, I worked at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the Center for Depression Research and Clinical Care (CDRCC) as a member of a multidisciplinary team conducting research and delivering Youth and Mental Health Awareness (YAM) programming to middle and high school aged students in Plano ISD.
