About me
I work with adults who are experiencing a variety of issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, mood disorders, OCD, panic disorder, women's issues and relationship issues.
Becki received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 1985. She received a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2003 and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Alabama A & M University in 2019. She has additional education in theories of counseling, multicultural counseling, assessment techniques, addiction counseling techniques, ethical and legal issues in counseling, spirituality and counseling, pastoral counseling, human services counseling, PTSD and combat related trauma, advanced resilience for leaders, childhood issues and trauma, and counseling adolescents. Becki has completed an internship in college counseling and two internships in a substance abuse IOP program. Becki is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Alabama. Becki takes a collaborative approach in working with her clients and believes that each of her clients has within them the drive to make positive life changes no matter how dire their circumstances may feel. Becki uses a variety of therapeutic techniques depending on the unique needs of her clients.
