I am a seasoned Mental Health Professional whose focus is to help people navigate a complicated world. I do not see our difficulties in life as pathological and I strive to help people find their authentic selves.
I have been licensed as a Mental Health Professional for 40 plus years and have practiced in Alaska, Vermont and now Washington State. In my career I have worked in Community Mental Health, Child Custody, Juvenile Justice, Addictions and I have always maintained an eclectic private practice. I see individuals and couples. I am paneled with most insurance companies and am a Tricare and VA provider. I do not have one specific theory I adhere to, however I am versed in Imago therapy, Attachment Theory and in Psychodynamic and Humanistic Psychotherapy. At this time, I only practice virtually and find this to work well for both my clients and myself.
