Ashley Saltzman, LCPC, NCC is an experienced counselor who is dedicated to helping children, teens, and adults heal from trauma and cope with anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

Ashley Saltzman, LCPC, NCC is a mental health therapist who brings 10+ years of mental health experience to By Your Side Counseling Services, LLC. Ashley received her master’s degree in the counseling track of applied psychology from the University of Baltimore in 2013 and has experience working at an outpatient substance use center and at an outpatient mental health center. Ashley enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families, and has a passion for helping clients process and heal from trauma and other stressors. Ashley is a registered Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) provider for the treatment of PTSD and can provide help individuals with exposure to trauma tackle the lasting symptoms. Ashley also utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, strength-based approaches, and supportive counseling during sessions. She is also a Maryland BOPCT approved supervisor for LGPCs, a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society, and a member of the American Counseling Association. In her free time, Ashley enjoys crafting, attending sporting events, and listening to true crime podcasts.
