I strive to create a relationship based upon unconditional acceptance. I want each person to feel safe enough to voice the full breadth of their experience and find the freedom to move toward their fullest self. I believe each person holds within the power to heal, and that sometimes we may benefit from guidance, support, and the insight of a caring counselor to help us find our way back to wellness. I will work to both support and challenge you. I work from a trauma-informed lens, meaning that I view many mental health symptoms as stemming from difficult past experiences the individual may have encountered.
I strive to help individuals create a new relationship with Self and your world. I regularly incorporate mindfulness and expressive-art, including sandtray, which allows you to safely enter an introspective space and strengthen balance, resilience, and coping. I specialize in grief and trauma work
I work hard to see and understand each individual within the complexity of their experiences, the systems in which they are impacted, their strengths and struggles, and their inner and outer landscapes so that they can better understand and move through difficulty, cope with life's challenges, and heal their holistic self.
