My goal as your therapist is to help you both feel and be better. I am your advocate from the time we begin working together, helping you to gain a sense of hope and wellbeing from the outset. You’ll learn to recognize and identify the thoughts and feelings that are causing you the most difficulty. With that knowledge and increased self-awareness, you can begin to look at circumstances through a different lens.

I work with clients with anxiety, panic, OCD, chronic pain, grief and those having difficulty with life transitions (school/work changes, grief, divorce, empty nesting), parenting and relationship issues. All of those conditions can create a sense of isolation, loneliness, and disconnection from the things we love and care about the most.
Through the use of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and other complementary practices such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions – a treatment used with parents of anxious children) we can learn where there is possibility for change.
I am direct and honest in my conversations and respectful and responsive in my communications with both new and existing clients. Therapy isn’t always easy and maybe, for it to be useful, it can’t be. This work is sometimes hard, sometimes funny, revelatory, sad. We’ll take it one step at a time and move toward your goals together.
